Pengaruh Rekrutmen dan Pendidikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Amandari Resort Ubud

This study aims to analyze the effect of recruitment process and educational background on employee performance at Amandari Resort Ubud, Bali. The research was motivated by the importance of human resource quality in the hospitality industry, particularly in resorts with high service standards. This study used a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consisted of 124 employees, while the sample consisted of 96 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results show that recruitment process has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a regression coefficient of 0.441, t-value of 2.710, and significance value of 0.008. Educational background also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a regression coefficient of 0.826, t-value of 4.158, and significance value of 0.000. Simultaneously, recruitment process and educational background have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with an F-value of 40.841 and significance value of 0.000. The adjusted R square value of 0.456 indicates that both independent variables explain 45.6% of employee performance variation. These findings imply that management should improve recruitment quality and ensure the suitability of educational background in employee placement and development.
