This research aimed to review the dynamics experienced by star hotel workers in the Seminyak area who were laid off during the Covid-19 pandemic until their recent conditions, considering the little attention given to this topic, especially 4 years after the pandemic passed. In fact, for some people, the events experienced at that time still hold several things that leave an impression to this day. This research used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Interviews were conducted with several workers who were laid off from star hotels in the Seminyak area. The results of this research show that star hotel workers in the Seminyak area are facing changes, especially from economic and social aspects which then influence psychological aspects. These workers have now chosen to continue the business they started in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic.
