Pengelolaan Overtourism untuk Keberlanjutan Desa Wisata Penglipuran di Kabupaten Bangli

This study aims to examine the management of sustainable overtourism in Penglipuran Tourism Village in Bangli Regency. Data sources consist of primary data and secondary data. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study indicate that the development of Penglipuran Tourism Village by utilizing existing resources has had a positive impact both economically, socio-culturally and environmental conservation. The attractions and achievements obtained by Penglipuran Tourism Village with various awards both locally, nationally and internationally have attracted many tourists to visit. The significant increase in the number of visitors is an achievement and also the shadow of overtourism that threatens the sustainability of the tourist attractions of Penglipuran Village. Various strategies need to be carried out to overcome overtourism in Penglipuran Village such as restrictions and regulations on visits, product diversification, increasing public and visitor awareness, and implementing sustainable development principles in its management and development. The strategies that will be carried out need to be carried out in collaboration with all stakeholders and aligning perceptions and objectives to maintain the sustainability of Penglipuran Tourism Village with a regenerative development concept approach.
